This opportunity, as part of the government’s Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) scheme, will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to gain experience of working in a high specification electro-mechanical research and development environment. It will also offer the successful candidate the opportunity to register for a higher degree such as an MPhil or MSc. Key attributes: Bachelors degree at 2:1 or above in an appropriate scientific or engineering subject such as Mechanical Engineering, as well as an ambition for spearheading a new development project. Proven capability in the design of mechanical systems and a solid understanding of fluid dynamics is essential. A higher technical degree would be an advantage, as would a relevant industrial placement or other industrial experience.
