MMU 30 Research Studentships Available Apply Now! Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU) is oﬀering 30 research studentships commencing in September 2009. Holders will register for an MRes/MPhil or PhD degree at one of the University’s ten World Class Research Institutes. Successful applicants will receive a subsistence bursary of £12,000 p.a. and the University will provide home tuition fees to the value of £3,350 p.a. The studentships are full time and only available to Home and EU candidates. In addition, successful applicants will enjoy access to an outstanding Research Student Development Programme and become part of a vibrant research culture. MMU undertakes excellent research in many ﬁelds, as demonstrated by the results of the 2008 Research Assessment Exercise (RAE) in which the University was described as having ‘world-leading’ research in the sciences, arts, education, social sciences, business and management.
