Nine years later he decided to complete an MBA in Project Management at Getulio Vargas Foundation. Today he is studying an MSc in Knowledge Management at Loughborough University. Ever since I was a kid, I felt attracted to science, mathematics and aviation. My dream job was to be a military pilot or an aeronautical engineer. In the context of Brazil at that time (1985), both careers did not have good prospects, so I chose to study electronic engineering. When I was halfway through the five-year engineering course, however, I decided to change to computer science, graduating with a Bachelor degree. KNOWLEDGE IN THE UK I was looking for an academic degree in Knowledge Management. I already knew the importance that this strategy has for organisations competing in the modern business world, and a quality degree was absolutely mandatory.
