I completed a Masters in Citizenship and Global Education at the University of York prior to starting my PhD at Warwick. After looking at a boxful of the prospectuses, I found the PhD at Warwick Institute of Education (WIE) tailormade to my needs as an international student. I felt it offered me the chance to learn more about the subject but also the chance to consolidate this theory with professional practice. IN CLASS When I first arrived, I was very good opportunity for PhD students to discuss their research and broaden their mind, which is as a source of inspiration and motivation. The high-quality teaching staff at WIE and the warm and friendly office staff are always willing to help us. The academic training from the Graduate School and IT Services also ensure you get the most out of your research, helping you to develop skills for employment. When I finish my PhD I would like to stay and work in the UK, as an academic. LIFE ON CAMPUS I have really enjoyed learning here and I also enjoy the fantastic excursions arranged by the International Office. The first three months were a bit lonely but the more I got used to life here, the easier it became.
