A Commitment to Community Leadership
Throughout the past 150 years, community service has
been a hallmark of the firm. In fact, five presidents of the bar
association have been from Mogel, Speidel, Bobb and Kershner,
and the firm's list of community involvement and leadership
roles is very long and very impressive.
The current shareholders include Frederick R. Mogel,
Stephen H. Price, Sean J. O'Brien, Mark E. Zimmer and Jesse
A. Kammerdeiner. Paul R. Ober is Of Counsel.

Frederick R. Mogel joined the firm in
1980, after graduating from the Delaware
Law School at Widener University (now
Widener University School of Law).
Though having vast experience in a variety
of legal fields, Mr. Mogel concentrates in
family law, residential and commercial real
estate law, mortgage foreclosure, zoning and
land use law. He is a past president of the
Berks County Bar Association and Endlich
Law Club and has held positions in statewide legal groups.
He has also served as president of Family Guidance Center,
Atonement Lutheran Church Council, and Wyomissing Area
Education Association.

Stephen H. Price, who joined the firm
in 1994. He practices in the areas of general
civil litigation, municipal law, real property
and probate. He is a member of Wernersville
Borough Council and also serves as county
borough association representative on the
Reading Area Transportation Study. He
has served on the boards of the YMCA
corporate and Central Branch, the American
Red Cross, the Spanish Speaking Council of
Reading and Berks County boards and is past-president of the
BCBA Young Lawyers Division.
Sean O'Brien, who joined the firm
in 1995, practices in the areas of estate
planning and administration, general
corporate, commercial, real estate and
employment law. Mr. O'Brien graduated

Edwin H. Kershner

from Widener University School of Law and served an
internship with former Berks County District Attorney
Mark Baldwin before joining the firm. He's been chair of the
Berks County Bar Association Law Day and Orphans' Court
committees and has received the group's President Award for
Service. He's also been a part of the Elder Abuse Task Force,
Conrad Weiser Tennis Association, Womelsdorf Library
Capital Committee, the board of Berks Talkline, and the MDA
Black and Blue Ball committee.

Mark Zimmer of South Heidelberg
Township, who joined the firm in late 2001,
practices in the areas of family law, adoption,
general litigation, employment law, estate
planning and corporate law. Mr. Zimmer
started off in the psychology world with
undergraduate and master's degrees from
Cabrini College and Temple University,
respectively, and worked for a time at the
Horsham Clinic. He went on to earn his
law degree from Rutgers University School
of Law. His civic involvements included a stint as chair of the
Western District Berks County Republican Committee, chair
of the Berks County Bar Association Family Law Section and
Law Day Committee, and as a board member of the Family
Guidance Center. He also helped to edit a law and graduate
school textbook, "The Battered Woman's Syndrome in Courts,"
and has been a guest lecturer in psychology at Penn State
Berks as well as conducting professional seminars for legal and
psychology professionals.
Jesse A. Kammerdeiner holds a degree
in Information Sciences and Technology
from the Pennsylvania State University and
earned his law degree at the University of
North Carolina School of Law. He joined
the firm in 2009. He practices in the areas
of estate planning and administration,
family law and corporate and municipal law.
His civic involvement includes coaching the
Daniel Boone High School Hockey Club
and various Bar Association committees.
