In Memoriam
William F. Ochs, Jr.

William F. Ochs, Jr., 72, passed away on May 16, 2018. Mr. Ochs graduated from
New Brunswick High School (NJ), Franklin & Marshall College and Dickinson
School of Law. Mr. Ochs was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar Association and
began his successful law career in 1970. He served as Chief Public Defender for
Berks County from 1975-1993 and continued in private practice thereafter until
his death. Mr. Ochs also served as an adjunct professor for Alvernia University for
a number of years. Mr. Ochs was an Eagle Scout and continued his humanitarian
spirit and commitment to the community as a lifelong member of the Rotary
Club and the Masonic Order. He was a passionate dog and horse lover and
previously served on the board of the Humane Society of Berks County. He also
spent his free time as an amateur "ham" radio operator. Mr. Ochs is survived by
his wife, Luciana, his daughters, Jessica, Elizabeth and Katherine, along with his
granddaughter, Francesca.

Edward M. Collins, III
Edward M Collins, III, 59, passed away on April 8, 2018. Mr. Collins graduated
from St. Joseph's High School (NJ) and St. Joseph's University. After graduation,
Mr. Collins worked in the food marketing and financial services industries. In
1987, Mr. Collins received his Juris Doctor from Temple University School of Law.
After graduating from law school, he served as a law clerk for the Honorable
Thomas J. Eshelman, Berks County Court of Common Pleas. Mr. Collins practiced
business law in Bucks and Berks Counties and was a partner at Roland & Schlegel
before becoming the owner and president of Entrance, Inc. in Leesport, PA. Mr.
Collins was a member of the Holy Guardian Angels Parish, Knights of Columbus,
member and past president of the Rotary Club of Muhlenberg, Ancient Order
of Hibernians, King's Men, Berks County Bar Association, member and past
president of the Delaware Chapter of the US Coast Guard Academy Parents'
Association and the Holy Guardian Angels CYO. Mr. Collins was humble, kind,
generous, intelligent, and had a great and quick sense of humor. He enjoyed
spending time with family and friends, reading, history, politics, cooking,
listening to rock and Celtic music, hiking, biking and kayaking, the Oakland
Raiders, taking naps, watching TV, and walking his dog, Sophie. Mr. Collins
dedicated his life to providing for others. Mr. Collins is survived by his wife,
Margaret, and his daughters, Marguerite and Catherine.

Terry L. Parish
Terry L. Parish, 77, passed away on May 22, 2018. Mr. Parish graduated from
Oklahoma Baptist University in 1964 with a major in government (political
science) and a minor in history. In the fall of 1964, Mr. Parish enrolled in law
school at George Washington University; however, when he received notice
of the impending draft in 1964, he withdrew from law school and joined the
Navy Reserve. He joined the Navy as a sailor but thereafter attended Officer
Candidate School (OCS) in Newport, RI. He graduated from OCS on February
11, 1966 number 4 in a class of 307 as the commander of Company M. After
OCS, he went to the US Naval School for Underwater Swimmers in Key West,
FL, then back to Newport, RI for intelligence training, communications training,
cryptography training, publications and top secret materials control training,
Division Officer training, Officer of the Deck school and boat handling training.
He was then stationed aboard the USS Independence, an aircraft carrier.
After being released from active duty in 1969, Mr. Parish started law school at
