Spotlight on New Members

Steven R. Arose is a new associate at Stevens & Lee in the tax-exempt
finance area. A graduate of Villanova University and Temple's Beasley School of
Law, he has also earned a MBA in Temple's Fox School of Business. Previously,
Steve worked as a summer associate at Pricket Jones & Elliot in Wilmington
and as a legal intern at the Small Business Administration in Washington, D.C.
His hobbies include skiing/snowboarding and golf.
David S. Sobotka, Esquire, has a new associate, Timothy B. Bitler, Jr., whose
practice is primarily in the areas of family law and estates. Tim's undergraduate
years were spent at Gettysburg College, and he earned his law degree at
Villanova. His background includes working on the family farm throughout
high school and college and interning with Bitler, Dougher & Rice; Kline &
Nadirov; and the Law Office of David S. Sobotka. As one who really enjoys
music, Tim plays acoustic guitar, harmonica and bass guitar, as well as sings. He
was in a rock band in law school, called ZZ Tort, playing at various law school
events. Tim also enjoys participating in the Berks County Bowling League,
brewing beer, growing hops and raising honey bees.
Another new associate at Stevens & Lee is Rachelle G. Cecala. Her area
of practice is commercial litigation, generally involving financial products and
services and ERISA. She is a graduate of the Catholic University of America
and the Widener University Commonwealth Law School. Before entering law
school, Rachelle worked for a solo practitioner and interned for Congressman
Bill Posey in Washington, D.C. While in law school, she served as a certified
legal intern at the Central Pennsylvania Law Clinics. Rachelle likes to ski, hike,
travel and play the piano.

Michael Rothstein is now working with "two great colleagues/parents,
Jim Rothstein and Sharon Scullin" at Rothstein & Scullin, P.C. in the areas
of wills, trusts and estates, real estate, commercial and transactional law. He
had graduated from Pitzer College in Claremont, CA and from Georgetown
University Law Center. Michael's interesting background includes working at
UGI developing energy projects (mostly solar), taking a trip around the world
with his wife for a year and a half, co-founding a digital marketing company
and then returning to the energy industry as VP of Business Development
for Evolution Energy Partners, LLC. He and his wife, Annalily Charles, have
a 16-month-old daughter, Poppy Ray Rothstein. His hobbies are playing
basketball and golf, working on their 117-year-old house, reading, watching
movies and making their "toddler daughter laugh as often as possible."
The new First Assistant County Solicitor is J. Chadwick Schnee, whose
alma maters are University of Rochester and University of Pittsburgh School
of Law. He had previously served as the Assistant Chief Counsel for the
Pennsylvania Office of Open Records for almost seven years, and before that he
was with a Pittsburgh law firm specializing in labor and employment matters.
Chad and his wife, Emily, have three children: Hunter, 8; Lennon, 6; and Moxie,
2. He describes his hobby as "extremely amateur home-brewing of beer."
