Judy Chaverri is an Assistant Public Defender. A graduate of
Temple University and the Villanova University School of Law,
her background includes working in the areas of criminal and
immigration law. She has a 14-month-old son, Leonardo.
Lauren Otero has also recently become an Assistant Public
Defender in Berks County. She is in the United States Air Force
Reserves, and, prior to law school, Lauren worked in the museum
industry as a collections manager and business manager. She has
a B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh, J.D. from Villanova
University School of Law and LLM from the University of
Edinburgh. Her hobbies are yoga, gardening and, as a former Army
brat, Lauren enjoys traveling the world. Her daughter, Aurora, is
two years old.
