thoughts about what's new in wall coverings and
what customers are looking for.
Q: It seems like styles for wall covering are always
changing. Is that true?
A: Certainly! As design and art dictates, they are as mutable as
the styles, cultures and social situations they reflect.
Q: What types of wall coverings are people interested
in these days?
A: Removable, reusable and DIY are key factors today. No one
wants their wallpaper to last for ten years anymore, unless it
is for commercial space. Today consumers want wallpaper to
reflect their moods and personal growth; as they change, so too
their choices.
Q: What should a homeowner consider when trying
to pick a wall covering?
A: As with paint, consider the wallpaper in all light from morning
through night, bright light to soft. We suggest living with samples
for a few days before making a decision. Also, read the installation
and removal instructions before purchase. Some of today's
wallpaper is engineered to remove easily in full strips, making it
commitment free. Wallpaper can also be used to marry existing
furniture pieces and patterns to newer additions for a cohesive look.
