Farewell to Chris

W

e at Legal Aid are excited for Chris as
she moves into her new role as CEO of
the Crime Victims' Center. We often
encounter CVC advocates who accompany victims
of domestic violence to court during protection from
abuse proceedings. The advocates are a crucial support
for vulnerable people as they confront their abusers
through an unfamiliar and sometimes confusing
court process.
As we say goodbye to Chris, I have the honor of
assuming her role and responsibilities as Pro Bono
Coordinator for Chester County. I have been a part of
Legal Aid since December 2014, first as a volunteer,
next as a part-time staff attorney, and now as a fulltime staff attorney.
I look forward to working with our county's pro
bono attorneys who give so generously of their time
and skills, and with our partner organizations who
connect low-income residents of Chester County with
important social services.
