Dennis Woody, Esquire!

n November 18, 2016, Dennis Woody, Esquire,
retired from his position as law clerk for the Honorable Chad
F. Kenney. Dennis served as a law clerk in the Orphans' Court to each President Judge in
Delaware County for nearly 40 years. William Halligan, Esquire, with whom Dennis has worked for his entire tenure
in the Orphan's Court, continues to work as a law clerk for the President Judge. Dennis was replaced by Cynthia
McNicholas, Esquire.
Though Dennis will no longer be working as a law clerk he will continue to practice with his firm, Woody Law
Offices, P.C. His firm includes his son, D. Daniel Woody, Esquire, and daughter-in-law, Carrie Woody, Esquire.
Dennis primarily focuses his practice on trust and estate administration, estate planning, and other Orphans' Court
matters.
Outside of the office, Dennis is an enthusiastic golfer, skier, and grandfather. In his semi-retirement, he intends on
focusing his time on his primary passion: his three grandchildren. Otherwise, you can find him at his favorite course,
Springhaven, nearly every summer weekend, and he often travels to Florida and Hawaii to golf in the off-season. In
the winter, he hits the slopes at Steamboat Springs, Colorado, his favorite ski mountain, but this year he will spend
two weeks skiing in Whistler, British Columbia. His wife, Donna, of over forty years, is his primary traveling partner
and best friend.
