Women Leaders in
Public Service
April. The Delaware County Women's Commission joined
County Council to recognize four women on their service to
Delaware County. Congratulations and many thanks to those
of us here, and in spirit ... together, we have made a change!

Linda Houldin was inducted into the Hall of
Fame for her many contributions to Delaware County, all
immeasurable and far reaching. A dedicated volunteer to
numerous committees, Education and Child Advocacy was
a strong interest of hers. This led Linda to many years as a
member of the Marple Newtown School Board. Linda also had
a passion for political involvement. Her enthusiasm shined
while working as the Executive Director of the Delaware
County Historical Society. She enjoyed educating our youth
about the history of Delaware County. Linda was so grateful
to be one of the founding members of the Delaware County
Veterans Memorial located in Newtown Square on West
Chester Pike; this truly was her legacy. She cherished the
service of every soldier and it was her mission to honor them
along with their beloved families.

Woman of Achievement Award was presented
to the President of the HEADstrong Foundation
and Nick's House; Cheryl Colleluori who has brought
the Foundation to life working relentlessly to make her late
son's vision a reality. Over the past nine years, she has spread
