Friday, May 5-Sunday, May 7
The soon-to-be Appell Center for the Performing Arts will
be celebrating with an entire weekend of events for all ages
throughout the complex from May 5 to May 7, including a Free
First Friday film, Tony Bennett (sold out), a Free Community Day,
CapFilm: Sound of Music Sing-a-Long, CapLive: Old 97s. This
history-making event is one you will not want to miss!

Weary Arts Group's annual production, in partnership with the
York Jewish Community Center,
of The Wiz is coming up on May
13th at 2pm and 7pm! This soulful, urban twist on the Wizard of
Oz is a show that you will want to
see again and again. WAG chose
this show because the central
theme of exploration, discovery,
and friendship resonates with our
mission. Also, anyone can identify
with the characters... but the
main reason is because the music
is infectious and it keeps you

Olde York Mother's Day Street Fair

The 42nd Annual Olde York Street Fair will be held in Downtown York, in and around Continental Square, on Sunday, May
14 from 12:30pm to 6pm. All are invited to attend this free
event. More than 100 arts and craft vendors will feature handmade gift items for sale, and new exhibitors this year include a
few local authors. Food vendors will sell traditional American
festival food as well as original creations. All food vendors donate a portion of their sales to area non-profit organizations.
