members.

R-BAR has been a member of the Chamber for over 90 years.
Our Association has benefited from this partnership through the
various educational and networking opportunities provided to our
staff and members.
The Chamber has helped our Association increase the visibility
of our events and outreach projects to members of our community.
For example, the Chamber partnered with our Association to help
market real estate opportunities in the community including an
upcoming event that we are hosting together in June to highlight
commercial properties in the City of Reading during the World War
II weekend.
In recent years, the Chamber partnered with the Association to
host "Meet the Candidates" receptions to introduce candidates for
office to both of our memberships.
What do you see in the future for your
business?
In 2001, the Association purchased the Berks Real Estate Weekly
to help our members market their listings to the public through
a printed publication that includes open house schedules and
current properties available for sale. This publication is distributed
throughout Berks County every week (450 locations and 5,000
copies per week). Still available in print today, the Weekly is also
increasing its presence in the digital market, unveiling this year a
brand new website to help connect our members with the public:
