Not included in Arts & Economic Prosperity reports are for-profit economic gains in arts and culture, such as the dollars
connected to Santander Arena, Santander Performing Arts Center, and other for-profit community events such as Berks Country
Fest. Also not included would be other nonprofit community events organized by non-arts organizations that might not
report to the American for the Arts database, such as the Downtown Alive concert series, which is managed by the Downtown
Improvement District with financial support from the Berks County Community Foundation. While revenue numbers are not
readily available, the number of events and attendance driven by them are impressive.
