Be it a small business, a growing entity or an established enterprise,
leadership is an essential component for long-term success. It is not
"a nice to have," but a "must have." The Greater Reading Chamber
has realized the value we can bring to organizations, large or small,
in helping develop future leaders and by growing current ones to
reach new heights in productivity and effectiveness.
After employees excel at foundational elements such as communication, delegation, problem solving and developing teams, the
Chamber recognizes that high-potential employees need an experiential
learning forum to serve as a next step in further strengthening these
competencies. Mark Dolinski from the Chamber states, "Today's
thought leaders recognize the value of creating and supporting
continuous learning environments within organizations."

Lessons in Leadership was developed to provide both high-potential employees and seasoned managers with the opportunity to
connect with one another and apply new skills in a highly interactive
environment. The ability to collaborate and receive feedback from both
the classroom facilitator and fellow peers is an invaluable experience.
Mark Dolinski states, "Peer to peer learning is the secret recipe that
differentiates our programming from other instructor-focused learning
experiences. Adults learn by being actively involved in the learning
experience and not by being lectured at by a sage on the stage."
The Chamber continues to grow and enhance our leadership
programming. We are in a state of continuous improvement - we
truly listen to our customers to determine what works and what

To capitalize on this recent emphasis on leadership development,
the Chamber offers an array of learning and development programs
facilitated by business professionals who practice the latest theoretical knowledge and are seasoned business professionals. These
facilitators are able to bridge the latest leadership concepts with
practical application so participants can immediately apply their
new knowledge and skills at work. Additionally, Chamber programs
allow participants to continuously grow their business acumen and
their personal leadership skills.
The Chamber is proud of the quality of our facilitators and
executive coaches that we bring to the business community. Our
newest leadership facilitator is Thomas W. Rhoads who is able to
bring his extensive and varied background to the classroom, along
with a proven ability to help organizations make breakthroughs
in achieving growth goals and creating a motivating environment.
Another remarkable leadership facilitator, Shawn Doyle, is the
author of 19 books, including a number of Amazon bestsellers.
Currently a contributor to Huffington Post, Shawn has written on
subjects such as leadership, motivation, networking and productivity.
According to Shawn, "Having the opportunity to facilitate courses
throughout the country provides me with a tremendous range of
