This important session is designed to help employers
identify and navigate the legal issues that arise when
employees' behavioral health disorders manifest
themselves in the workplace. We will explore an
employer's legal responsibilities pursuant to both the

Americans With Disabilities Act ("ADA") and the Family
and Medical Leave Act ("FMLA"). We will discuss at
length the best practices for handling accommodation
requests from employees suffering from behavioral
health disorders, including engaging in the interactive
process and determining whether a particular request
constitutes an undue burden.
