MBA Past-President Robert F. Morris, of Morris Wilson, P.C.,
received a Special Achievement Award from the Pennsylvania Bar
Association for his service on the PBA Judiciary Committee. The
award was presented at the PBA's Annual Meeting in Hershey, PA
on May 9 - 11, 2018.
Also receiving honors at the PBA's Annual Meeting were MBA
Secretary and Vetrano | Vetrano & Feinman LLC Partner
Sarinia M. Feinman and High Swartz LLP Partner Melissa
M. Boyd, both of whom received Special Achievement Awards
in Family Law.

the 2018 edition of "Best Law Firms" list for Metropolitan Tier
3, Philadelphia, Personal Injury Litigation - Plaintiffs. Firms

High Swartz LLP partner William F. Kerr, Jr. presented at the
Lehigh Valley Regional Housing Summit on Housing Challenges
and Opportunities held on February 8, 2018. He was part of a
panel discussion that focused on housing affordability and how
national and state models can be applicable in the Lehigh Valley.
Mr. Kerr has also been appointed to the Board of Directors of
Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery and Delaware Counties,
Inc.
Friedman Schuman takes pleasure in acknowledging that
Marjorie J. Scharpf, a Principal of the firm, is an instructor
at the Temple University - Fox School of Business for the Spring
Semester 2018. Marjorie is teaching the "Tax, Trust and Estate
Planning" course along with Robert A. Alston, who is also a
Principal of the firm. Both Marjorie and Bob have their LL.M.
in Taxation and have a wealth of knowledge on the subject that
they will share with their students. Mr. Alston has also been
inducted into the Pennsylvania Chapter of the National Academy
of Distinguished Neutrals for 2018.
Friedman Schuman is proud to announce that Peter S.
Friedman, one of its shareholders, was recently elected to the
Abramson Center's Board of Trustees. The Abramson Center
for Jewish Life is a nonprofit provider of health care services to
seniors throughout the Philadelphia area and the Board provides
direction and support to its management team.

announce that attorney William G. Roark recently presented

"The Medical Marijuana Act and Your Practice" CLE at Chester
County Bar Association's Spring Bench Bar Conference. Mr.
Roark discussed the numerous unexpected ways legal issues
surrounding the Act can come across a practitioner's desk.

Michael A. Cognetti recently participated in a Career Day
event at the Wissahickon Boys and Girls Club. The mission
of the Boys and Girls Club is to enable all young people,
especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential

Boys and Girls Club has been in existence 133 years.

to announce that Michael A. Luongo has joined the firm as
an associate. He will practice primarily in the areas of business

Amy R. Stern, a partner at the Lansdale law firm of Rubin,
Glickman, Steinberg and Gifford, P.C, co-presented a seminar
entitled Divorce 101 along with Marc Silverman, Senior Loan
Officer of GMH Mortgage Services. The seminar covered
common misconceptions in family law including divorce, child
support, alimony, and asset division and was held on April 5,
2018 at the Lansdale Public Library.
Mannion Prior, LLP is pleased to announce that co-founder and
partner Karl Prior has been elected a Fellow in the American
College of Trust and Estate Counsel ("ACTEC"). ACTEC is a
nonprofit association of lawyers and law professors skilled and
experienced in the preparation of wills and trusts; estate planning;
and probate procedure and administration of trusts and estates of
decedents, minors and incompetents.
Stephanie A. Henrick, an attorney with High Swartz LLP, has
been elected Mayor of Pottstown, Pennsylvania. Ms. Henrick
was sworn-in on January 2, 2018 and will serve a four-year term.
Jeffrey S. Feldman is pleased to announce the founding of The
Feldman Firm, LLC in Plymouth Meeting. He will continue to
represent clients in civil matters in the state and federal courts,
with a particular emphasis on business disputes and claims
involving trusts and estates.
Henry Ian Pass was recently appointed to serve on the Board
of Directors of Vesper Boat Club, the storied rowing cub on
Philadelphia's historic Boathouse Row. Mr. Pass has been a
sculling member at Vesper for the last two decades and has
provided pro bono legal services on behalf of the club on various
matters.
