With the help of Steve, Dr. Rick Sullivan and Brian Volken, we have vs. ImplantDirect RePlantTM put together a presentation that shows these differences, which are very real, and could lead to either breaking the collar of the RePlant NobelReplace implant (as we have heard from a doctor), an implant that is seated Implant Direct too high (as we have heard from a doctor) (possibly causing restor RePlant ative problems), or over-tightening (in order to seat properly, which could lead to pressure necrosis). If you look at the attached slides, you will very clearly see why these problems may exist. If I were a surgical specialist, I would certainly be concerned with whether I was sending a quality product back to my referring dentist, and whether a specialist or an implantologist, I would certainly wonder if I were extending the best care to the patient. Also, what does it say about a company that advertises compatibility with our drilling system, when you clearly see the quite significant differences in implant design???
