Charlie and CC Marine Today

Everyone at CC Marine Distributors knows their individual
contribution is very much appreciated. Each of them is warmly
thanked for their good work on a regular basis and Charlie's
expression of appreciation is 100% sincere.
That same affection for other people and a dedication to
getting things done is behind the tremendous loyalty that
Charlie and CC Marine Distributors receive from so many of
their customers. And they have a ton of customers.

We published a detailed version of the CC Marine Distributors
story in Boating Industry Canada almost a decade ago, not long
after Charlie had gone ahead and developed a new purposebuilt facility in Newmarket, Ontario to be the home for CC
Marine. Their previous facility in Richmond Hill was 13,000
square feet and Charlie worked with their real estate developer
to design and build the new facility on Harry Walker Parkway.
This is 31,000 square feet - a dramatic increase in size.
In spite of that, as I went through the CC Marine shipping
area in mid-September, it was a madhouse of shipping pallets
piled high with products for customers from as far away as
British Columbia and Newfoundland. Of course, September is
when the dealers were encouraged to put in their orders for
winterizing and shrink-wrapping products.
The company had probably already shipped 1000 rolls and
they were just unpacking another 26 skids of shrink wrap from
their supplier in Quebec while I was around. Charlie joked
with some of the fellows who were moving the pallets with a
forklift, that their shrink-wrap operation could be a business
on its own. That's how busy things were that day.
From the company's long-term senior members to the
youngest and least experienced, everyone is familiar with
Charlie's warmth, enthusiasm and positive attitude. Charlie frequently stops to chat or get some information as he goes
through the shop.
