Painter Sandra Burshell has gained considerable recognition for her masterful pastel paintings of moody and dimly lit “roomscapes” and sun-filled paintings of house exteriors in New Orleans. She studied both at the Art Institute of Chicago and at the New Orleans Academy of Fine Arts with Auseklis Ozols. JRK
