Joyce’s artistic accolades include winning three Emmy Awards for his Rolie Polie Olie children’s television series and an Academy Award in 2012 for the animated short film The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore. Joyce provides illustrations for magazines such as The New Yorker, codirects computeranimated films for DreamWorks Animation in Hollywood, and serves as the artistic director of Artspace gallery and cofounder of Moonbot Studios, both located in Shreveport.
