PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE SEE YOU AT THE SHOW! I once made the comment to a colleague while setting up our booth that AAPEX reminded me of Christmas; new shiny products displayed like presents, a chance to reacquaint with family and a celebration of our faith in our industry. She looked at me like I had two heads. This year I am so proud to represent the Auto Care Association and our industry as we mark the 24th consecutive year that AAPEX has been conducted at the Sands Expo in Las Vegas. Whether you are someone like me who has attended most or all of the past AAPEX events, or if this is your first show, the facts are staggering. More than 2,200 manufacturers and suppliers from all over the world are showcasing their innovative products, services and technologies; 44,000 buyers will be on the show floor looking for new business opportunities; and 40 AAPEXedu sessions will be held to help you improve your bottom line. Over the years, AAPEX has grown and evolved into the premier global event representing the massive $356.5 billion world-wide auto care industry. While at the show, I also encourage you to attend a special general session on Wednesday morning at The Venetian where you will hear first-hand from 2 AUTO CARE INSIDER | VOL. 102 retired four-star General Michael Hayden. The former CIA and NSA director will share his expertise and exclusive insights on how cybersecurity is not only affecting our country and our lives, but also the auto care industry. I also invite our members to visit the Auto Care Association Member Center in Rooms 201-203 of the Sands, adjacent to the show floor.
