Retail Auto Parts Stores achieved an impressive $1.43 billion gain in Do-It-Yourself sales, followed by residual category of Other outlets, which rose $640 million. Discount Stores/Mass Merchandisers climbed $248 million in light vehicle Do-ItYourself sales during these ten years. All other outlets combined for a $1.21 billion DIY product decline at user-price. tomotive product sales at user-price between 2007 and 2017; while Dealers fell $233 million in DIY automotive sales. DIY GROWTH CONCENTRATION Retail Auto Parts Stores produced most of the $2.31 billion combined Do-It-Yourself increase recorded by the three outlets expanding their DoIt-Yourself sales (Retail Auto Parts Stores and Discount Stores/Mass Merchandisers and Other Outlets). Retail Auto Parts Stores rang-up 61.6% growth share, with Other outlets contributing 27.6% to DIY growth and Discount Stores/Mass Merchandisers accounting for 10.8% of DIY expansion from 2007 to 2017. LOWER DIY PRODUCT VOLUME Jobber Do-It-Yourself volume suffered a $682 million decline.
