GALEN MOOK, LANDRY'S BICYCLES environment for cyclists no matter their skill level. All of these businesses contribute to a more bike friendly world and have made huge impacts on their communities. From providing appropriate workplace accommodations and incentivizing bicycle commuting, to educating a new generation of cycling enthusiasts and ensuring that they bike safely in their communities, these businesses not only serve as sales and repair shops, but more importantly, they act as community hubs for learning about how bicycling can benefit individuals and communities. Landry's employees are committed to the company's mission to get more people riding bikes more often. hospitals, biotech companies, and other workplaces providing on site bike tuneups, safety checks, and educational clinics on how to ride safely in inclement weather and city traffic. They've also consulted with hospitals on how to become better bike friendly businesses in hopes of convincing their fellow community to welcome and enjoy all the benefits of bicycling. As a Platinum Bicycle Friendly Business, Landry's Bikes is making biking better in their community. Through all of their efforts inside and outside of their stores, they have created a welcoming GALEN MOOK, LANDRY'S BICYCLES In addition to supporting their employees, Landry's supports a variety of large events. They endorse dozens of charity rides through sponsorship and tech support, and staff regularly volunteer at charity rides, most notably the Pan-Mass Challenge, which fundraises to provide resources for doctors and scientists to research cures for all types of cancers. More than half of Landry's staff volunteer for this annual event. Education and community outreach are also crucial to creating a more bike friendly community at Landry's Bikes.
