Automotive District 10 Michigan
This year, in a joint effort, AHEPA Chapter 141 and
DOP Iris Chapter 242, Flint, Mich., graciously have
taken on the task of hosting the District 10 Convention
in Grand Blanc, Mich., May 20, 2017.
The Rose of New England Chapter 110
Norwich, Conn.
The chapter hosted its 27th annual Thanksgiving Dinner for 120
seniors living at AHEPA 110 III Senior Apartments.
District 8
AHEPA Chapter 195, Ann Arbor, Mich.
Bay State District 8, Massachusetts
Brother Emanuel James Pappas, a 67-year Life Member from
Webster, Mass., presented a $65,000 donation toward the
AHEPA Bay State District 8 Scholarship Program. Brother
Pappas, is one of nine brothers, many of who served during
World War II, and his mother was a volunteer ambulance
driver and made bandages for the war effort. Pictured
(seated): Brother Pappas presents his donation to Brother
Peter G. Leasca, PSG. (Standing): District 8 Gov. Dalton
Respass, PSG; and Brother George P. Leasca, vice president,
Morgan Stanley. District 8 grants more than 20 scholarships
each year to students. The District 8 Scholarship Program
was founded circa 1949.

The chapter had its annual Christmas Party at the
Quarter Bistro, Ann Arbor, where Chapter 195 and
DOP Knossos Chapter 174 gathered together for a
joyous evening of great food and fellowship, Dec.
13, 2016. Christmas carols were sung in both Greek
and English and a collection was taken for the St.
Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church of Ann Arbor's
benevolence fund.
