AHEPA meets with Greece's
Ambassador to U.S.
AHEPA Supreme Lodge officers and Board of Trustees members, led by
Supreme President Carl R. Hollister, met with Ambassador of Greece to
the United States Haris Lalacos at the Embassy of Greece, Washington,
DC, March 9.

Supreme President Carl R. Hollister, Supreme Secretary Jimmy Kokotas,
and Past Supreme President John W. Galanis attended the Enthronement
of His Eminence Metropolitan Nathanael at Annunciation Greek Orthodox
Cathedral, Chicago, March 24. In addition, Past Supreme President and
Past Chairman of the Board Nicholas A. Karacostas and Executive Director
Basil Mossaidis attended the Ordination of Metropolitan Nathanael of
Chicago at the Archdiocesan Cathedral of the Holy Trinity, March 17.
AHEPA Attends AHC of California's Annual Gala
Supreme President Carl R. Hollister attended the American Hellenic
Council of California's 44th Annual Gala, held in Los Angeles, March 31,
2018. Supreme President Hollister appreciated the opportunity to offer
greetings to the audience. He also had the opportunity to discuss AHEPA's
public policy priorities with U.S. Representatives Brad Sherman (D-CA),
a senior member of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs, and Judy
Chu (D-CA). Both legislators are members of the Congressional Hellenic
Caucus. The gala honored: Kelly Vlahakis-Hanks, CEO/president, Earth
Friendly Products; world-renowned archaeologist, Prof. John Camp, who
is a Stavros Niarchos Foundation professor of Classics and the director
of the Athenian Agora, American School of Classical Studies at Athens; (L-R): Dr. Menas Kafatos, AHC board chairman; Supreme
and Real Estate Developer, Philanthropist, and Community Advocate Aris Governor Booras, U.S. Rep. Sherman, and Supreme
President Hollister.
