The Daughters of Penelope celebrated 85 years of its legacy and the dream of our founder Alexandra
Apostolides, and the 25 devoted women who joined her, in San Francisco, November 16, 2014. In
July, we returned to our roots for the 93rd Supreme Convention to honor that dream and commitment.
As we step into our 86th year, it is time to RENEW the Passion, Excitement and Love we share
for the Order. It takes each of us as members to Aspire to those objectives as we move forward with
RENEWED spirit.
I don't imply that you or I
can save the world. However,
in the words of Theodore Roosevelt: "Do what you can, with
what you have, where you are."
No one could ask for more.
Let your passion for the
AHEPA family exceed all of
your expectations.

Supreme President John Galanis, Sons of Pericles Supreme President Andreas Christou and Maids
of Athena Grand President Deanna Socaris, and our respective lodges, will all be working together
as an AHEPA family to further promote our ideals. Togetherness is our strength, our respect, and our
love of the AHEPA family. I congratulate each of these strong, worthy leaders and look forward to a
rewarding year ahead.
Once again the AHEPA family will continue to raise funds for the rebuilding of St. Nicholas National Shrine at World Trade Center. I would like to suggest that you make a donation in memory or
in honor of those sisters in your districts or chapters that have served the Daughters of Penelope. This
also is in part our legacy that we will be proud of as we honor those that perished that fateful day and
bring hope and spiritual promise for the future.
I look forward to working hand-in-hand with Supreme President Galanis as we promote all of the
ideals that make the AHEPA family a respected and committed organization here and abroad.
