Mother Lodge Chapter 1
Atlanta, Ga.

Marathon Chapter 2, Charlotte, N.C.

The chapter hosted an initiation and reactivation
ceremony for Sons of Pericles Adelphi Chapter
86, Dec. 13, 2014. Sons Supreme Governor Steven
Gagas travelled from Waterbury, Conn., to Atlanta to
initiate 12 young men into the Junior Order. AHEPA
district and chapter officers assisted. The two chapters went quickly to work, serving more than 600
Orthodox youth, advisors, and priests during the
Atlanta Diocese Winter Youth Rally held in Atlanta,
Dec. 27 to 30, 2014. The chapter congratulates
these young men who represent the future of the
Order.

District 2
Chapter 401, Melbourne, Fla.
The chapter mourns the passing of Brother
Tom C. Panouses. May his memory be eternal.

District 3
Sons Member Chairs Successful
Santa's Bag Toy Drive
Junior Brother Kyriakos
Mossaidis chaired the
2014 Santa's Bag fundraiser for Children's
Hospital in Washington,
DC. More than $1,000
was raised and 11 bags
of toys were delivered,
Dec. 20, 2014.

The chapter hosted the
District 3 Workshop, Feb. 7,
2015, at where the chapter
presented Supreme President
Phillip Frangos with a
$5,000 donation toward the
campaign to rebuild Saint
Nicholas National Shrine.
Also, a new member was initiated into the chapter. The meeting was
held at Socrates Academy, which is a charter school that offers a K- 8
program. The chapter and its foundation were responsible for the construction and outfitting of audio visual/conferencing capabilities for the
school's Greek Language lab. More than 35 Ahepans attended the workshop, which was organized by District 3 Gov. Jim Stasios.

Chapter 277, Durham, N.C.
The chapter mourns the passing of Brother
Christos (Chris) Constantinos Katsiagianis.
Brother Christos was 63. Chris enlisted in the
U. S. Marine Corps and served his country
during the Vietnam years. Upon his return, he
earned his Juris Doctorate
and practiced immigration
law. Also in December,
the chapter presented a
donation to the Building
Fund of St. Barbara Greek
Orthodox Church.

The chapter hosted Supreme
President Phillip Frangos for
a visitation, Feb. 3, 2015.
