Philanthropic Goals

Las Vegas Chapter Reactivated

SOP Supreme President Andreas Christou
As we head into the New Year, I want to take this opportunity to thank all those in the AHEPA family who have
continued to support the Sons of Pericles, whether it
was advising our existing chapters, helping us start new
chapters, or supporting one of our chapter or national
fundraisers, without the support from all orders of the
AHEPA family, our success could not be possible. There
is however, much room for growth and improvement,
and in order to ensure the continuation of the Order of
AHEPA, we must continue to
grow its Junior Order.
With our national membership slowly increasing,
we count on our senior
orders to assist us in areas
where we might have contacts by introducing us to
prospective Sons of Pericles.
We are just four districts
Andreas Christou
away from having at least
one Sons of Pericles chapter in every district and many
of our districts are just one chapter away from becoming active Sons of Pericles districts. I, along with the
Supreme Lodge, look forward to visiting and meeting
with the AHEPA family throughout the United States
and Canada to lay the foundations for the future leaders
of the AHEPA family.
During this holiday season, we also ask that you
keep in mind the two very worthy causes that the
Sons of Pericles will be raising money for this year.
Our joint National Project with the Maids of Athena,
the Rebuilding of St. Nicholas National Shrine, is still
ongoing and we are selling high rollers raffle tickets
through the end of the year. Our President's Project, the
Cyprus Children's Fund, is also ongoing as we are also
working to assist young children experiencing hardship
in Cyprus.
On behalf of the entire Sons of Pericles Supreme
Lodge, we would like to wish all of our brothers and
sisters a joyous New Year!

The Sons of Pericles Membership Committee, led by Supreme
Vice President Nikolas Apostolou, proudly announces the
Junior Order's newest chapter, Titan 272, Las Vegas, Nev.
Supreme Governor Dean Bilitsis, along with AHEPA Supreme
Vice President Andrew Zachariades, AHEPA District 20 Governor
Wynn Storton, and members of AHEPA Chapter 314, Las Vegas,
initiated the new members into the reactivated chapter. Titan
Chapter 272 becomes the third Sons chapter in District 20.
There is also potential for reactivations in Lowell, Mass.;
Brooklyn, N.Y.; and Manchester, N.H. With the year coming to a
close, the Sons of Pericles has renewed its goal to have an active
chapter in every district by the end of the administrative year.
Districts 9, 10, 22, and 26 remain. The Supreme Lodge is ready
and willing to work with those interested in starting a new chapter.

Hope to see you there!
