AHEPA FAMILY CHAPTER NEWS
District 1
Mother Lodge Chapter 1, Atlanta, Ga.
The chapter continues its longstanding support of the
greater Atlanta community as it marked the 30th anniversary of the chapter's support of the Empty Stocking Fund
(ESF) and the JROTC of North Atlanta High School. The
ESF is an 89-year old, Atlanta-based nonprofit that provides gifts to more than 50,000 metro area children living
in poverty each Holiday season. Over a two-day period,
Oct. 31 and Nov. 1, thousands of JROTC cadets from metro
Atlanta high schools raise awareness and funds for the
Empty Stocking Fund throughout the community. Pictured
are Mother Lodge 1 brothers flanked by North Atlanta
High School Army Instructors, Retired Lt. Col. Lynette D.
Minnick and Retired First Sergeant Bryan Jett.

The chapter has been hard at work keeping the road beautiful for Holy Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church. The
"Adopt- A- Mile" project is part of Keep Cobb Beautiful. The
Marietta brothers clean the road periodically throughout
the year.
