AHEPA FAMILY CHAPTER NEWS
District 3
AHEPA Chapter 277, Durham, N.C.
The chapter held its traditional fall dinner-dance, Oct.
17, 2015. The event helps to benefit St. Barbara Greek
Orthodox Church's building fund, as well as other local, district, and national philanthropic causes. Father Stavroforos
Mamaies, an Ahepan, gave the Invocation. Attendees were
treated to an "all you can eat" buffet. District 3 Treasurer
Steve Goodson and Past District 3 Lodge Officer John
Bantsolas, both from Fayetteville, were guests.
Lord Baltimore Chapter 364, Baltimore, Md.
The chapter proudly presented it 2015 Scholarship
awards on June 14 to fifteen well-deserving students who will be representing the American
Hellenic community for
many years to come.
The chapter congratulates this year's scholarship recipients and
thanks Father Michael
Pastrikos for his kind
words during the ceremony and the community of St. Nicholas for its support. The
chapter also presented the church with a $600 scholarship for its Greek School. In
total, the chapter has issued $8,400 in scholarship grants for 2015.

District 5
Eagle Rock Chapter 375, Roseland, N.J.
The chapter hosted its annual District 5 Governor's
visit, Nov. 4, 2015. Governor Asteri Fanikos was joined
by officers of the District Lodge, who each reported on
events and duties accordingly. Chapter 375 also invited
surrounding chapters to attend and participate in a group
initiation. Members from newly formed Liberty Chapter
532 and Eureka Chapter 52 attended. Congratulations to
new initiates: Brothers Ares Miliotis, James Mavrikidis,
and Alex Aldea to Eagle Rock Chapter 375; and Nick
Haniotis and Gus Haritos to Liberty Chapter 532.
