AHEPA Holds Successful
Leadership Conference in Europe
Supreme President John W. Galanis participated at a leadership conference of AHEPA's European chapters held in Stuttgart, Germany, Oct.
9 and 10, 2015. In addition to addressing how AHEPA can grow and
expand in Europe, the conference explored ways in which further assistance can be provided to Greece, which is enduring two crises, economic
and migratory. AHEPA Friedrich Schiller Chapter 608, Stuttgart (BadenWürttemberg), hosted the conference.
"Congratulations to our European Brothers for coming together to
organize a meaningful and productive leadership conference," Galanis
said. "I thank them for their participation and enthusiasm. Excellent ideas
were raised for discussion, and we must work together to explore them."
On the way to Stuttgart, Supreme President Galanis stopped in Paris,
France, to meet with brothers from Victor Hugo Chapter 607. Also while
in Paris, Brother Panagiotis Katis, who is a counsellor for budget, taxation, and financial markets at the Organization for Economic Cooperation
and Development (OECD); accompanied Supreme President Galanis on a
visit to the OECD.
