FeAture 2016 accG district days at the Capitol NOW IN ITS second year, the ACCG District Days at the Capitol will connect Georgia's county officials with key state leaders while the General Assembly is in session. County commissioners will converge at the state capitol in Atlanta/Fulton County, Ga., for a day filled with policy discussions on pressing issues before the state legislature and updates on significant county issues from the ACCG policy staff. The importance for state and county officials to work together as state policies are formed and implemented continues to grow each year. There are various laws that come out of the General Assembly that exemplify the collaborative and successful partnership between all players in Georgia's government arena.
