Ensuring All Health Care Environments Contribute
to Quality Outcomes and Healthy Communities
EXCHANGE 2015 is headed to Grapevine, Texas, September 20-23, and environmental services leaders and health care support services professionals, including infection prevention, are coming together to learn more about cost-saving
methods, best practices for maintaining quality, and how to better contribute
to improved outcomes.
There are a number of new pre-conference workshops this year, including
CHEST Train-the-Trainer; Communicate, Lead, Succeed; and the TeamStepps
Essentials Course. In addition, new this year is EXPRESS@EXCHANGE, which will
offer short 30-minute express-style learning sessions that bring both convenience
and learning together. More than 30 Learning Labs will be available to choose
from-covering everything from leadership and waste management to textile
management and sustainability. The Healthcare Marketplace will feature the
latest products, platforms, and services that are contributing to healthy environments and solving the problems that keep environmental services professionals
up at night.
EXCHANGE 2015 is a gathering of professionals dedicated to the ongoing
development and advancement of health care environmental hygiene outcomes.

* General Sessions. Industry leaders and insightful speakers will share experiences and strategies on how to succeed both personally and
professionally. Sessions include talks on leadership, choosing the right disinfectant, an environmental services perspective on the combat
of HAIs, and best practices for conquering the
challenge of change.
* Pre-Conference Sessions. The three half-day
pre-conference workshops on Sunday give an
overview on environmental services topics,
including TeamSTEPPS, which is a teamwork
system designed for health care that provides
a powerful solution to improve patient safety.
* Learning Labs. Choose Learning Labs that will
develop new skills and knowledge appropriate
for your professional level. Labs are based on
AHE's pillars of prevention, education, standards,
and management, and each session is designed
to include valuable ideas, strategies, and tactics
that keep you abreast of changes and provide a
look to the future.
