new? Pivot Point Fundamentals is-
Pivot Point's latest, 2017 educational
program-designed specifically
for this. The new curriculum is
geared intentionally toward the
NextGENeration of learners, teaching
them technical and soft skills with
an understanding of the passion and
commitment needed to become
successful. Content is designed to
capture students' attention so they
retain knowledge that's salon-relevant.
The program delivers content in small
modules which assist educators in
presenting each topic and better
develop students' understanding.
It seamlessly integrates with Pivot
Point's LAB for classroom consistency
and increased engagement. With
Fundamentals in LAB, the student
experience comes to life, allowing
for collaboration, deeper thinking,
support for multiple learning
styles and more. The core goal of
Fundamentals is to focus on the learner
and help them establish careers
that lead to professional resilience
and sustainability.

A few years ago, we launched an
in-school event to connect local Great
Clips franchisees with cosmetology
schools in their communities. The
Great Clipper Event was a huge
success and spurred us to develop
the Great Career Event. Together,
the events have been delivered
at more than 3,000 cosmetology
schools since 2014! Next year, we'll
release a new series of in-school
sessions, Culture45. The 45-minute
programs will focus on in-demand
business and life skills: personal
finance, professionalism, interviewing
