THROUGH JANUARY 2014, the Beauty Changes Lives
Foundation (BCL) had awarding 67 learning opportunities to aspiring and licensed beauty and wellness professionals, totaling nearly $200,000 and
new scholarships are continually added. Application windows and funding amounts vary, so visit
current offerings. BCL scholarships include:
* BCL | CND | Tippi Hedren Nail Scholarship
Program-awards scholarships to individuals
entering the nail profession, covering 100 percent of program tuition (up to $5,000) at AACS
* Vidal Sassoon Professional Beauty
Education Scholarship Program-awards
10 aspiring hairstylists with 50 percent tuition
scholarships (up to $10,000) at an AACS member
school; and awards 10 professional scholarships
(up to $5,000, including travel) to licensed professionals at Sassoon Academies in North America.
Wella has committed $1.5 million to fund scholarships through 2017.
* Beauty Changes Lives Massage Therapy
Scholarship-funded by Massage Envy, awards
$2,000 tuition scholarships to aspiring massage
therapists who enroll in a massage therapy program at an AACS member school.
* Celeb Mentorship Competition-connects
students with iconic leaders in the industry.

AACS member school. Each scholarship competition requires applicants to submit an essay or video
application addressing how a career in beauty and

media channels for future application submissions.
