What are Micro Currents?
icro current is a powerful modality that
allows the skin care
therapist to offer their
clients a non-surgical
alternative to plastic
surgery, which is revolutionizing the skin
care industry. This modality is unique in
its ability to improve the muscles of the
face to create a more youthful and toned
appearance through a process that has
been known as a non-surgical facelift.

The muscles of the body require both
electrical and chemical activity in order
to perform the daily activities of the body.
As the body ages, the reactions triggered
by our electrical impulses slow down
and the skin begins to lose its elasticity
Since we know the body responds to
electrical currents, it seems that this
non-invasive, yet effective technology is
used for its many benefits within the skin
Micro currents, in their simplest explanation, are low level electrical currents either
generated by, or conducted by, the body. In
basic terms, it's the small amounts of electricity that pass in and around the cells.
The equipment produces the exact
amount of electricity that mirrors the body's
own natural current and works in harmony
with the body's electrical system. These
micro current impulses trigger a chemical
reaction at a cellular level to increase the
effectiveness of how our bodies use ATP
(adenosine triphosphate), a protein that is
referred to as "the energy of life."
Micro current is a secondary stimulus
using electrical signals from the brain
to the message center of the muscle. By
reproducing the body's own biological
current we can re-establish muscle memory naturally.
There are two ways of using micro current in the treatment room:
* Muscle Re-Education
* Specific Iontophoresis
