AFFINITY PARTNER PROGRAM AACS’ Affordable, Flexible and Value-Driven Member Benefits BY BEAUTYLINK STAFF W hat is the AACS Affinity Program and what does it mean to you, the member? In a word, the AACS Affinity Program could be defined as value. Much more than preferential pricing or a loyalty reward program, the AACS Affinity Program provides members with services that help differentiate their schools and create value for students, instructors and owners! From the innovative Bloom service that enables students to create online portfolios and connect with prospective employers even before graduating beauty school, to the HUMAN Healthy Vending program that promotes nutrition on campus while generating school revenue, the AACS affinity program is a valuable member benefit. AACS Executive Director Jim Cox said the association’s leadership developed an Affinity Program to provide members with affordable, flexible and value-driven benefits. “The Affinity Program expands upon the legislative activities, educational and networking benefits AACS offers to members and enhances the member experience, while generating additional nondues income for the association,” said Cox. According to Cox, the Affinity Program is a win for member schools, their students, staff and the association. What Affinity Programs are available to AACS members? AFFINITY PROGRAM DESCRIPTION MEMBER FEEDBACK HUMAN Healthy Vending Provides nutritious food and beverage choices while generating commission income for schools. All choices are $1.50 or less and the machine accepts cash and credit cards. “Time and money are always considerations and this program is not only easy to implement, but generates revenue.” This benefit program allows schools to offer employee-paid and employee-owned insurance plans, such as disability, life, accident and critical illness coverage. “All in all, it is a win-win for schools and employees.
