to malnutrition such as strokes; cancers
and any neurologic disease that causes
dysphagia. Conditions such as Crohn's

disease and Cystic Fibrosis that affect
absorption can result in malnutrition.
Pancreatitis and liver disease also impact
appetite and absorption. Medications
and diet restrictions can also impact
nutritional status.
