Success Illustrated: Adams Tank & Lift
to help him full time, which I did. I started to run the business for
him in the late ’80s as vice president. I finally bought the company
from him in 2007 along with my two brothers and my sister.
Q. What new products/services options would you like to see
succeed and become mainstream?
One stop shop. We started our company in the petroleum business
and then we started selling interior packages such as coolers,
gondolas, fountain machines and so on. In 2012 I started a new
general contracting firm, AT&L Construction Services Inc., to be
able to offer all aspects of a new build and/or renovation or remodel.
dams Tank & Lift is a family owned company that, since
1979, has grown from a small operation to four offices in
Florida. This did not happen by accident. It was the result
of hard work, dedicated employees and a commitment to quality.
There are 84 total employees, all of whom stand by the company’s
motto; “We are built on service.”
Their corporate office is located in Clearwater, and there are
branches in Orlando, Fort Myers and Miami. They provide complete
installation and service on most brands of service station and garage
equipment. Their specialties are electronic equipment, such as POS
(point of sale) equipment, dispensers and dispenser control systems,
as well as the installation of underground storage tanks and lines,
environmental protection equipment, lifts and other related equipment found in service stations and automotive repair facilities. They
also provide interior packages, from beer coolers and soda fountain
machines to shelving and countertops.
Some of the awards they have received include: Top Wayne
Service Company, Top 10 Wayne Distributor and Exxon/Mobil
