Meeting MPI Toronto - May/June 2014 - (Page 5)
MPI is the Answer ...
What is Your Question?
At the beginning of the year, we set out to build a community that we are all proud to belong to. We have a lot of
accomplishments to be proud of. With a focus on our members, we were listening and were able to achieve many
amazing things this year:
* You asked for a higher level of education; we delivered with professional development sessions that allowed
you to earn CEU credits that can be used towards earning and recertifying your CMP.
* You asked for more time to network with colleagues; we delivered with our Signature Series events and
experiential learning sessions.

* You asked for more involvement and input; in November, we held our ME ETING of the Minds focus group,
which created ideas leading to our March/April and May/June issues of MEE TING.
* You ask for more cutting edge/modern communications; we re-imagined our MEE TING magazine and
introduced MEE TING Lite e-news.
* You asked for the Leadership Team to be more engaging; we delivered in many ways, including the
introduction of our Ambassador Program, by reaching out personally at events and by calling you to acquire
your feedback at membership renewal time.
We are here for you, with the goal of enhancing your MPI experience. We are very pleased that our retention
rate, as of February 2014, has increased by 2.36 per cent since July 2013. You are important to us, and we will
continue to reach out to all of you. MPI is the answer ... what is your question?
We are a community that supports each other, and I encourage all of you to share your stories, as we continue
to inspire each other through knowledge, ideas and strong relationships. Why? Because it works!

We have accomplished amazing things, and I am very proud to have been able to serve as your president.
