We surface just to catch our breaths, only to be smothered again by the crashing waves of emails, phone calls and meeting requests. On December 1, our chapter celebrates together when we gather as a community for our Angela Caroyannis Holiday Gala. This is Toronto's largest meeting industry gala, and we are so fortunate to raise Project Manager: funds for two programs, the Breakfast with Santa Foundation, which feeds more than 800 Kim Davies families during the holiday season, and the Chapter's Educational Reserve Fund, which enhances Editor: Sarah Sain our education programs and provides scholarships for our members in need. It is also a great time to reconnect with past acquaintances and forge stronger bonds within our MPI family. I hope you are all able to come out to the Holiday Gala and have a great time for a great cause. Our world is faced with many uncertainties, and families are struggling without food, a home or even a country. I hope you are able to support your local shelters and food banks and be a light to someone's darkness.
