Canadian Challenge Sled Dog Race
Feb 20, 2018 - Feb 24, 2018
Race begins on Central Ave.
21st annual. Sled dog race starts in Prince
Albert and finishes in La Ronge. This is
Canada's premier sled dog race and a qualifier
for the Iditarod and Yukon Quest. See website

2018 Tim Hortons Brier

The 2018 Tim Hortons Brier, the Canadian
Men's Curling Championship, is making a
long-awaited return to the Brandt Centre. This
Brier will mark the introduction of a 16-team,
two-pool competition format. The 16 teams
will be split into two pools for the first phase
of round-robin play, with the top four teams
from each pool then advancing to a crossover
championship pool. From there, four teams
will go into the familiar Page playoff round. The
winner will represent Canada at the 2018 World
Men's Curling Championship in Las Vegas, in
addition to earning a return trip to the 2019 Tim
Hortons Brier as Team Canada.
Not only does your ticket get you a chance
to watch the world's most famous curling
competition, it also gets you admission into
the world's most famous curling party, the
Patch - just a short covered walk away from
the arena at the adjacent International Trade
Centre at Evraz Place, where you can check
out live music, have a meal and mingle with
players and fellow fans from all over Canada.
SaskPower Windscape Kite Festival
