TAPPI has awarded its inaugural Tissue
Lifetime Achievement Award and Nalco Water
Honorarium to the late Sam Archer, formerly
of Kimberly-Clark and Nalco. The award recognizes an individual whose achievements in
management, technology, or marketing have
resulted in preeminent benefit to the world's
tissue industry. Sam's commitment to learning
about tissue making and his enthusiasm for
sharing that knowledge were largely responsible for the growth of TAPPI's Yankee Dryer
Safety and Reliability Committee.
