(44% for millennials) have fallen
asleep with their phone in hand.
34% of millennials sleep with their
phone on their bed. 36% of people
wake up thinking about their
phone, compared to 17% who are
thinking about coffee and 10% who
think about their significant other.

PHONE ADDICTION SYMPTOMS
A study of UBC students
found that the smartphone
pings, vibrations and alerts are causing
symptoms typically associated with
attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder,
i.e. fidgeting, distraction, restlessness and
trouble focusing. The study also found that
one in ten respondents are so addicted to
their phones that they even check them
during sex (not right after-in the midst).
