RETAIL COUNCIL OF CANADA ANNOUNCES NEW
EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

RETAIL Council of Canada (RCC) recently announced new officers-Chair,

Vice-Chair and Treasurer-to the association's Executive Committee of the
Board of Directors. As a voice of the Board, these Executive representatives
will serve members of RCC, providing critical insights and recommendations
to help develop and maintain the association's strategic direction and purpose
within the industry. They will each serve within their new positions for a period
of one year, from July 2014 to June 2015.

Immediate Past Chair

Ms. Shelley Broader
President & CEO,
Walmart EMEA

Kevin Macnab, President, Toys R' Us
Kevin oversees operations of 100 Stores and a vibrant eCommerce business, all showcasing the Toys"R"Us and Babies"R"Us
brands. He leads the development of all strategies including merchandising, marketing, store operations and real estate and has
implemented major change initiatives including new supply chain
systems and logistics network and the rapid expansion of online sales. Kevin,
who served as the Board's Chair for two years, will provide support and counsel
for the Executive Committee.

Anna Martini, President, Groupe Dynamite Inc.
Anna has been President of Groupe Dynamite since 2004. Since
her arrival, the company, whose Head Office is located in Montreal, has grown exponentially, tripling its sales figures.
A steadfast business woman with forward-thinking leadership,
Anna distinguishes herself through her authenticity, generosity,
candid personality and tenacity.
Vice-Chair

Michael Medline, President and CEO, Canadian Tire Corporation
Michael Medline is responsible for overseeing the operations of
all CTC business units, including Canadian Tire, Financial Services,
FGL Sports and Mark's, as well as Corporate Affairs and Technology.
Michael has had an impressive 13-year career with Canadian
Tire, having played a significant role in helping the company stay
on offense through innovative thinking and strong industry knowledge.
Treasurer

Peter Higgins, President and COO, R.C. Purdy's Chocolates Ltd.
With a passion for people and chocolate, Peter brings much to
Purdys Chocolatier in the way of expertise.
As President of Purdy's, Higgins' strong leadership has enhanced the robust chocolatier culture throughout the company.
He has been instrumental in helping Purdys achieve Top 50 Best
Companies to Work for in Canada five times and in 2014 the company also received recognition as One of the Best Managed Companies in Canada.
