Council of Canada's (RCC) Director, Prairies keeps
Lanny McInnes
busy. He's been
working within a
government relations role at RCC for
thirteen years, overseeing the association's government relations work in
Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Alberta and
British Columbia.
During much of this time McInnes
has also been involved in the ALS community both nationally and provincially,
serving most recently as Chair of the
Canadian organization. He's stepped
down from that role, and was honoured at a dinner in Toronto this past
spring in recognition of the work he's
done for ALS over the years.
"Lanny's tireless," says Diana
Rasmussen, Executive Director and
Client Services Coordinator for ALS
Canada. "He's had a long involvement with the organization, and the
work that he's done, aided by his
extensive experience and training in
strategic planning, policy development and board governance through
his involvement on various boards
and advisory councils, has been
vitally important in helping guide
ALS over the past number of years."
Retail Council of Canada congratulates McInnes and applauds the
work that he's done for Canadians,
above and beyond his role at RCC.

STORE 2016 conference captivated
attendees with thought-provoking
content, dynamic speakers and all
of the innovation happening in the
exciting retail industry all under one
roof. But, just as captivating was the
incredible signage used to reflect the
energy of Canada's largest employer.
The front entrance display was provided by Category5, and the flags
inside the venue directing attendees throughout the entire event were
