Membership in Texas Fire Chiefs Association
Thank you for expressing an interest in becoming a member of the Texas Fire Chiefs Association. The mission of the Texas
Fire Chiefs Association is to serve the citizens of Texas by actively participating in the advancement of the fire service through
positive leadership, sharing of information, and active legislative involvement, while maintaining the highest ethical and
Active Membership is open to the Fire Chief or the administrative head of the fire department and the chief officer(s)
Second-in-Command to that head of department. The annual dues for Active Members are $150 for the Fire Chief and $50 for
Second-in-Command to an Active Member.
Retired Membership is open to retired active members who want to continue their membership in a non-voting capacity.
Retired member dues are $10 per year.
Associate Membership is open to anyone having an active interest in fire prevention and protection. Associate Members join
in a non-voting capacity. The annual dues for Associate Members are $25.
Sustaining Membership is open to organizations whose missions support the fire service. Sustaining members also contribute
financially to the support of TFCA through sponsorships, exhibitions, advertising and with annual dues.
