O P T O M E C H A N I C S NEW The stainless steel rods of our Open Cage System provide a stable solid connection between the elements of the cage system. They are available in sizes from 2" (5 cm) up to 12" (30 cm). Our Open Cage Kit will enable you to get started with our Open Cage System. It consist of 3 U-elements, 3 L-elements, 4 rods of 10" and 2 rods of 4". Additional elements and rods from 2" up to 12" can be bought separately. The U-element of our New Focus® Open Cage System enables you to place a mount on a standard 1/2" (12.7 mm) post to be placed in the Open Cage supported by 4 rods. It is also possible to use the through hole to screw a mount directly to the element on the other side. The L-element of our Open Cage System enables you to place a mount on a standard 1/2" (12.7 mm) post to be placed in the Open Cage supported by 2 rods. It is also possible to use the through hole to screw a mount directly to the element on the other side. WEB See our website for more info. Please click here. Newport Broadband Metallic Mirrors Excellent general purpose, broadband reflectors. Key Features New Protected Gold Coating Excellent general purpose broadband reflectors Broader bandwidth and more economical than dielectric coatings Over 35 types of substrates and 4 coatings (UV, visible, and IR) to choose from O P T I C S Metallic mirrors are excellent general purpose, broadband reflectors. We offer four standard metallic mirror coatings, covering the UV, visible, and IR. These mirrors are available in round sizes from 12.7–203.2 mm (0.5–8.0 in.) with Pyrex® or Zerodur® substrates and in two elliptical sizes with Pyrex substrates. Pyrex has low thermal expansion and is an excellent substrate for most applications. Zerodur is a glass-ceramic material where thermal expansion is nominally zero. This extra stability can be critical for applications requiring diffraction limited performance. WEB See our website for more info. Please click here.
